The Reptillian Brain
I'm not really a marketing guy, more of a code-monkey, so when an article on marketing keeps me reading, it must be interesting, right?
I forwarded this around the office a while back, but this interview with market researcher Clotaire Rapaille came up in conversation again today.
Apparently the interview is from when Rapaille was featured on PBS show titled The Persuaders, which you can watch online.

The Persuaders was a brilliant episode of Frontline - a really interesting look at how marketers are trying to get our attention in an overly cluttered world, with some interesting cultural and political perspectives thrown in. Like the interview with the political consultant who advised politicians to switch from "Inheritance Tax" to "Death Tax." Very interesting stuff - and Clotaire Rapaille's stuff was super interesting as well. I love Frontline...I really need to watch it more often. It's awesome that they make the entire show available online.
